David R. Jewell

Midstream Consultant/Advisor

David Jewell has more than 30 years of executive experience managing midstream natural gas assets, including processing and gathering facilities, intrastate and interstate pipelines, and storage fields, with a focus on maximizing commercial value from their operation. Jewell’s specialties include reorganization of companies/units to focus on efficiency, cost reduction and improved customer service; integration of companies/units resulting from mergers, acquisitions or asset sales; and startup of new business units or the development of a new business focus. In each of these areas, he successfully implemented simplified business processes to achieve clear accountability and a shared focus on the mission. He identified and implemented IT technical solutions to deliver actionable information to those accountable for conducting business/operational transactions. Over his career Jewell has worked for or consulted with Enbridge Energy, Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, Howard Energy, NextEra Energy, Enable Midstream, CenterPoint Energy, Atlanta Gas Light, Altra Energy/Caminus Corporation, Columbia Gulf Transmission, Duke Energy, Texas Eastern Transmission, Panhandle Pipeline Company and British Gas, as well as many of the
customers and suppliers of these companies. Jewell holds an MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a BA in Business from Graceland University. He also completed the Executive Strategic Marketing Program at Stanford University. As a senior officer in several large companies, he served in a variety of corporate roles and managed a wide portfolio of functions including commercial business development, optimization, IT/cybersecurity, federal regulation, contracting and daily asset
commercial operations. Jewell formerly served on the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) board of
directors and the Southern Gas Association executive council. In the local community, he chairs the board of CarePartners, which focuses on the needs of caregivers of dementia sufferers, is a member of the Eagle Scout Association, and has served on the board of Junior Achievement of
Southeast Texas, Inc. and in various roles for the United Way of Greater Houston.
