He was previously a senior editor for The New York Times and The Information. Kevin co-founded Quartz and served as co-CEO and editor in chief from 2012 to 2019. Prior to Quartz, Kevin was a reporter at The Wall Street Journal for a decade, with that time split between Paris and San Francisco. He became managing editor of WSJ.com, where he led efforts that helped greatly expand the Journal’s online readership. Early in his career, Kevin was a reporter for SmartMoney magazine and a TV producer in Montreal. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a board member at the Internews global journalism nonprofit, and has a degree in history from Yale University.

Ted Bililies

Ted is an internationally recognized expert on leadership and organization development. He advises investors, CEOs, and boards globally to help them select the right leaders for key roles and to position those leaders and their teams for value creation. Ted is often consulted on challenging succession issues and when boards of directors need to make strategic leadership changes.

Serving three decades as a business psychologist, performance coach, human resources executive, and management consultant, Ted is also on the Executive Education faculty of the Harvard Business School. Ted has helped leaders around the world achieve enduring change in their organizations, their teams, and themselves by expanding their psychological, behavioral, and organizational insights into leadership.

Larry currently serves on HRD’s advisory board.
Larry holds a M.S. in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, a M.A. in Strategic Communication &Leadership and a master’s certificate in Applied Positive Psychology. His undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. He is a trained professional coach, graduating from an ICF accredited coach training program in 2001. He is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology ((SIOP) and the International Coach Federation (ICF). Larry is also the author of Leadership to the Fifth Power.

Rochelle Campbell

Rochelle Campbell is the CEO and Managing Member of Leadership Elevated. She is an accomplished board advisor and recruiter, DEI thought leader, columnist, and speaker. She focuses on governance, policy, diversity, coaching, and board succession planning.

She has had a successful career supporting boards and executives, across industries and sizes, customizing, developing, and delivering in-boardroom services including evaluations, skillset matrixes, custom education, and custom board recruitment services. She spent almost a decade with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) where she led the NACD Board Advisory and Board Recruitment practice. Through her work, she has placed directors on boards ranging from the F500 to large family-owned, private, and nonprofit organizations, across industries. She led the industry with an 85% diversity placement rate on boards.

 

Dr. Solange Charas

Founder and CEO of HCMoneyball

Dr. Solange Charas is a senior-level human resources expert with 30+ years of experience as a consultant, practice leader, top corporate executive, and board director across all industry sectors. She was the chief human resources officer at Havas Worldwide, Benfield Group, and Praetorian Financial Services Group, and held senior-level positions at Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen, and Towers Watson. She served on the boards of two public companies holding the chairperson’s role for the Audit and Remuneration Committees. She is a Distinguished Principal Research Fellow with The Conference Board. Charas is the founder and CEO of two organizations: Charas Consulting (2000) and HCMoneyball (2018).

Charas is a recognized expert in the area of human capital analytics and developed proprietary approaches to create and manage high-performing teams as well as technology-enabled solutions to quantify the return on investment of human capital. She is experienced in leading large and diverse programs and staffs. She has extensive international experience, including competency in five languages.

She earned a PhD in Designing Sustainable Systems from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Cornell University, and a BA in International Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

She has authored and been cited in over 175 practitioner articles, including “Why Men Have More Help Getting to the C-Suite” in Harvard Business Review, chapters in The Handbook of Board Governance eds. I and II by Richard LeBlanc, and the up-coming Coaching the Team at Work by David Clutterbuck. Her research has been cited in more than forty academic articles.

 

Dr. Steven Hunt

Chief Expert for Work & Technology SAP

Dr. Steven Hunt has an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and a PhD in Industrial-Organizational psychology. He helped create some of the very first applications of machine learning applied to staffing in the early 2000s and has since worked with a variety of AI/ML applications across all aspects of HR in his role as Chief Expert for Work & Technology at SAP.
